KRISTIE FLOURNOY, LICSW
My Approach
Hi, and welcome to my site! I am Kristie Flournoy-Earnshaw, and my pronouns are she/her. I identify as queer, neurodiverse, and polyamorous.
My approach to mental health treatment is holistic, client-centered, trauma-informed, and evidence-based. I specialize in working with individuals who are experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma. I am also LGBTQIA-knowledgeable and I support relationships in all forms (including alternative, non-monogamous, and kink lifestyles). I am social justice oriented, and I always consider the impact of life experiences of those in marginalized and oppressed communities.
I am versed in a number of therapy modalities, but I always tailor my approach to your needs. What this means is that I will spend time getting to know you, what brings you to therapy, and what you hope to achieve through our time together. Then, we will develop a plan together to help you get there.
I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Social Work in 2013, and then my Master's degree in Social Work in 2022. In my studies, I focused on neuroscience and the way that the brain responds to trauma.
